ONIMI / USER GUIDE

Help center

Start here to make pages, edit presentations, collect responses and maintain shared content.

01

Set up once, then create

Make pages and presentations, or share pages that collect and save people’s responses.

One setup for both tools

Open Install Onimi, copy one setup task and send it to your current agent. The agent checks and reports the actual Creator and Publish status; copying the task does not mean installation or connection succeeded.

Describe the job

For example: “Make a weekly project update for my team, with progress, risks and next steps.” Creator makes and revises the work; Publish saves and publishes it. You can stay in the same conversation.

Connect your account

When cloud features are needed, sign in and approve access in the browser, then return to the original conversation. You can first create a local page without publishing. Never send passwords or verification codes in chat.

02

Make a page

Start with a work update, learning plan, signup form or personal portfolio.

What should I provide?

Describe who the page is for and what it should help them do. Add dates, group size, existing material or style preferences when useful; you do not have to answer every question before starting.

Let Creator choose, or be specific

Creator matches the content structure and visual style to the task. You can also ask for a learning-plan scene or a particular style. Keep adding content without starting again.

Preview before sharing

Check the text, buttons and mobile layout in preview. If people should fill in, check off or edit things together, ask for cloud saving and choose separate responses or one shared set of content.

Browse scenes and templates →

03

Edit a presentation online

Create with your agent, then continue editing in the browser.

Open the editor

Find the presentation under Projects and continue from its Draft tab. Change text, colors, font sizes, layout, slide order and speaker notes. You can also apply a theme and undo or redo changes.

Find the action menu

The top bar offers Save, Preview and Publish. Open More in the top bar for presenting, exporting and other actions.

What will the audience see?

Use preview or slideshow mode to check the result. The published audience version excludes speaker notes, hidden slides and editing tools. Share a viewing link, rather than sending the private source file.

Demo and shared editing

The Slides Demo allows editing and presenting, but cannot save or share. Use your own project to keep changes. Live editing by multiple people is not supported; watch for version conflicts when taking turns.

04

Find a project and keep updating it

Keep one project for the same work so its link and history stay together.

New project or update?

For the first publication, tell your agent the project name and who should see it. For updates, say “Update the existing ×× project; do not create a new one.” Confirm the target if its name is ambiguous.

Find work in the dashboard

Filter work by page, presentation and tags. Continue editing a presentation under Draft; view collected responses under Data. Visit analytics is separate.

Names and addresses

The name helps you recognize the work. Its address name can change before the first successful publication, then becomes fixed. Later updates to the same project keep its stable link.

05

Publish and choose a version to share

After saving, finish publishing so other people can see the new content.

Publish existing content

Give your existing HTML or source material to your current agent and ask it to revise and publish the original work. You can also edit a presentation under its Draft tab.

Check the publication status

Confirm the work and its access, then select Publish. Onimi saves these edits and checks the content and permissions; only a confirmed success updates the published version. Resolve save or publish errors as shown. Gallery recommendations are reviewed separately.

What happens to an invitation after an update?

You can copy the same valid invitation again. After an update, it opens the latest published content; unpublished drafts stay private. Preview earlier releases in the owner’s Version history, separate from everyday invitations.

See publishing steps →

06

Save drafts and recover content

Drafts, published pages and participant responses have separate histories.

When can I leave the editor?

Wait for Saved before leaving. Saving a draft does not update the audience version; publish when you want others to see the change.

Find earlier draft content

Open Draft in the presentation project to view the current content and history. Restoring an earlier draft saves it as the current draft and does not publish it.

Undo a participant’s change

The owner of shared content can inspect changes under project Data and preview the effect of undoing them. If someone edited the same part later, a conflict prevents overwriting their later change.

07

Collect responses or maintain shared content

Choose the right model, then decide whether participants need to sign in.

Collect responses: one per person

Use this for signups, surveys or individual check-ins. Each person fills in their own response without replacing someone else’s. The owner can review the responses together.

Maintain content: one shared set

Use this for a team checklist, group trip or shared progress. Everyone views and edits the same content, so an accepted change affects what the others see.

With or without sign-in

People can use a self-entered nickname or participate anonymously when allowed; a nickname does not prove identity. Temporary response data is kept for recovery in the original browser. Sign in there with the valid temporary identity to link it to the account; after that, the same account can continue on other devices.

08

Choose access and withdraw it

Viewing a page and participating in it are separate permissions.

Share a static page

Public pages can be opened at their address; inclusion in the official gallery is reviewed separately. Anyone with an unlisted link can still open it. Private pages need valid access.

Share a page with cloud data

Response collection and shared editing require controlled sharing and cannot be public or unlisted. Choose who can join under Invitations and links, save and publish the work, then send the invitation after confirming it is active. An ordinary viewing link does not grant editing rights. Free allows up to 10 new access grants per invitation; Pro and Ultra are unlimited. Revisits do not count again, and plan expiry keeps existing access.

Withdraw one link

Revoke the link or invitation under project Invitations and links; other valid shares keep working. Revoking one grant on a public static page does not close its ordinary public address. Change its visibility to limit that access.

Pause, stop or delete

Pausing lets authorized people keep viewing but prevents submissions and edits until reopened. Stopping sharing immediately revokes all viewing links, invitations and sessions. Access cannot be reopened for this project; to share again, create a new project and set up sharing there. Deleting also removes the project and must not be used as a reversible pause.

09

Save responses and shared changes

A change visible on the page is not necessarily saved to the cloud.

How do I save?

Submit and wait for a success receipt. A successful response is recorded under Data without owner review. Keep your input and retry if saving fails.

Offline or failed save?

Keep the page and your input open, reconnect and follow the retry prompt. Progress stored only on your device or in the address does not sync to others. Ask Creator to add cloud saving to the original project if it is missing.

Someone else changed it too

When a conflict appears, read the latest content, then use it or revise your own changes before saving again. Repeatedly pressing Save will not resolve the conflict; refreshing is not saving.

Who can see the history?

Participants’ brief history shows only nicknames and times. The owner can inspect the actual changes and handle recovery in the project. A no-account nickname is unverified and should not be relied on to recover the same response across devices.

10

Manage work in the dashboard

Project status, sharing and data stay together.

Review responses and export

Open project Data to review responses, changes and exports. Wait for an export to finish; create it again if its download link expires. Copying a project’s structure does not copy participant answers or access grants.

Read visit trends

Project analytics shows a line chart and summaries of visitors, sources and devices. Page visits are different from received responses. Use Plan and usage for allowance figures.

Open the dashboard →

11

Account, plan and interface

Manage your account, interface language and dashboard layout.

How do Pages and Slides use my plan?

Pages and Slides share your account’s project allowance. Basic Slides creation is available on all plans; advanced resources depend on your membership. Check Plan and usage for your remaining allowance and available features.

Profile, language and sign-out

Account settings shows editable profile details. Change language and theme in the header. The sidebar can collapse and includes your username and sign-out action. Changing the interface language does not translate your work or responses.

Does disconnecting an agent delete my work?

No. Revoking it under Agent connections prevents further operations by that agent, while projects and published pages remain. Ordinary use does not require a separate developer token.

12

Payments, renewals and refunds

Check confirmed access under Plan and usage. Payments use Stripe’s hosted checkout.

Manage a subscription or restore payment

Open Manage subscription & payment under Plan and usage to view invoices and available payment-method and cancellation options. Resolve failed payments there, then return and refresh the dashboard status. Returning from checkout alone does not activate access.

Request a refund or check a charge

Contact Onimi support at oceanailab@gmail.com with your account email, receipt or invoice number, payment date and issue. We review each request. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment, and refunds or payment disputes do not automatically cancel future renewals.

How refunds and disputes affect access

A full refund for the current paid period ends its paid access; a partial refund retains it. Refunding an earlier period does not affect a later one. A payment dispute pauses access for the affected period; a win restores it and a loss ends it, subject to other refund or dispute restrictions. Your confirmed dashboard status shows available access.

13

When something goes wrong

Continue from the current step instead of reinstalling or creating duplicate projects.

Installed, but cannot create or publish?

Check that the agent’s Onimi connection is ready and reconnect if prompted. Complete any browser confirmation, then return to the original task. Missing tools alone do not prove that authorization has expired.

A friend cannot open the page

Confirm publication, then check whether the invitation expired or was revoked and whether the recipient has the original valid identity. Existing access still works after a Free invitation reaches its limit for new joins. Send a valid invitation for private work, not the owner’s dashboard address.

Save or publication failed

Follow the error to check the current content, asset paths and plan allowance, then retry the original work. A failed attempt does not replace existing content, so a new project is unnecessary.
