Onboarding guide

Turn scattered material into a practical sequence people can follow.

All questions may be skipped. Use known material, state consequential assumptions, and leave unknown facts unresolved.

Optional context

  • What is the reader’s role and starting knowledge?
  • What should they be able to do independently afterward?
  • Which tools, references and contacts are available?
  • Are there dependencies, deadlines or common blockers?

Suggested structure

  1. Goal and audience
  2. Preparation
  3. Step-by-step tasks
  4. Troubleshooting
  5. Completion checks and references

Quality checks

  • Use ordered steps and consistent desktop/mobile progress navigation.
  • Personal checkmarks stay on the device by default; choose controlled cloud only for team participation.
  • Do not embed internal credentials or contact details without authorization.
